As a result of the examination of all weevils (Curculionoidea) with Swiss finding locations in the collection Walter Linsenmaier, housed in the Lucerne Nature-Museum, 192 species in 823 individuals were located. Pseudorchestes cinereus is reported for the first time from Switzerland. 6 first records from Central Switzerland and 29 first records of species for the Swiss cantons Basel, Fribourg, Lucerne, Ticino, Unterwalden and Uri are listed. Beside the first record from Switzerland, the findings of the species Apoderus erythropterus, Chlorophanus graminicola, Dorytomus dorsalis, Liparus glabrirostris, Mogulones aubei and Otiorhrnchus gemmatus, interesting from a Faunistic point of view, are presented and discussed.
