During a biodiversity-study on the Mittlerer Gramsen near to Romoos insects were regularly collected in the years 1992-1994 at two places (calcareous grassland and mixed forest) at a montane altitude with pitfall traps and light- and day catches. Thereby the weevils collected consisted of 1501 specimens in 96 species of the families Anthribidae (1), Apionidae (20), Curculionidae (71), and Rhynchitidae (4). Among them 6 species are new to Central Switzerland, and 18 species are new to the canton of Lucerne. Six remarkable species are discussed, including unexpected xerothermophilous elements.
