Three new species of the subgenus Tachypterellus are described from Laos as the first representatives of the anthonomine subgenus from the Indochina under the names of Anthonomus (Tachypterellus) yoroi sp. nov., A. (T.) spinosus sp. nov., and A. (T.) laoensis sp. nov. All of them occurred sympatrically and were captured on a single fruiting evergreen Prunus tree at the same time. A key to the species of Tachypterellus is also given.
