| : | In a garden in Molinazzo de Monteggio, southern canton of Ticino, Trichopterapion holosericeum has been found numerous on hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) in September 2009. Holes and feeding inside the seeds are shown and interpreted as a first hint concerning the species' biology that hitherto remained unknown. |
