Abstract:

The genus Falsanchonus Zherikhin, 1987 is revised. It is assigned to the tribe Aminyopini, based on the appendiculate claws and female genitalia. The following new species are described: F. phoenicopterus n. sp. (China), F. emeishanicus n. sp. (China), F. bhaktai n. sp. (India: Darjeeling, Sikkim; Nepal), F. roggeroi n. sp. (India: Darjeeling), F. leptus n. sp. (Nepal), F. schawalleri n. sp. (Nepal). The genus Microplinthus Zherikhin, 1987 is transferred from the tribe Molytini, subtribe Typoderina to the tribe Aminyopini and the following new combinations for species originally described in the genus Leptanchonus Morimoto, 1982 are established: Microplinthus major (Zherikhin, 1987) and Microplinthus minor (Zherikhin, 1987).
