Natural Monument Kamenna near Static is the only locality with limestone substrate in the Frydek-Mistek district that protects xerothermophilous fauna and flora. Several years' investigation confirmed occurrence of many flea and weevil beetle species that are rare in the Czech Republic (Comasinus setiger (Beck, 1817), Doydirhynchus austriacus (Olivier, 1807), Neophytobius quadrinodosus (Gyllenhal, 1813)), species living in the warm oakwoods (Curculio pellitus (Boheman, 1843), Lasiorhynchites cavifrons (Gyllenhal, 1833)) and species that occur here in the only locality in the northern Moravia (Sciaphobus scitulus (Germar, 1824), Dibolia foersteri Bach, 1859, some Apion spp.). Confirmation of 44 species of the Apion genus (35% of the known Czech species) is the evidence of a great plant diversity in the locality. Kamenna is probably also the overwintering place for some wetland species - e.g. relative rare weevil species Thamiocolus viduatus (Gyllenhal, 1813) or very rare flea species in the Czech Republic - Phyllotreta diademata Foudras, 1859. There were confirmed also two of the expanding weevil species - Larinodontes sturnus (Schaller, 1783) and Miarus distinctus (Boheman, 1845) in the locality.
