In order to develop a technique of biological control of Rhynchophorus ferrugineus Olivier, several experimentations were carried out to determine the effectiveness of preventive and curative treatments as well as the persistence under field conditions of the enthomopathogenic nematode Steinernema carpocapsae, applied with quitosane.
