Trichosirocalus spurnyi (Schultze, 1901) is reported for the first time from Bohemia (the Czech Republic). It was found in an old brickyard near Uhretice in northeastern Bohemia on Achillea millefolium L. Several other rare weevil species are present at the same locality: Argoptochus quadrisignatus (Bach, 1856), Brachysomus villosulus (Germar, 1824) and Zacladus exiguus (Olivier, 1807). Sibinia (Dichotychius) beckeri (Desbrochers, 1873) is recorded as a new species for Slovakia. It was discovered in a salt marsh near Kamenn in the southern part of the country. Its newly discovered host plant is Limonium gmelini hungaricum (Klokov) Soo. The connection between Sibinia beckeri and Limonium gmelini hungaricum was observed in Dobrogea (Romania) for the first time.
