Description of four new species of Gymnetron from South Africa (Coleoptera Curculionidae)

Description of four new species of Gymnetron from South Africa (Coleoptera Curculionidae). Four new species belonging to the weevil genus Gymnetron Schoenherr, 1825 collected in South Africa are here described: Gymnetron brevinasus n. sp., G. ibis n. sp., G. monstruosum n. sp., and G. subdolum n. sp. For every taxon the description, the photograph of their habitus, the illustration of rostra and genitalia, and the differential characters from the more closely related species are reported.
