This third and concluding part of a revision of western palaearctic Perilitus treats the species often included in the genus or subgenus Microctonus WESMAEL. Detailed descriptions of these species are given as well as keys and illustrations of some of their characters. Thirty species are described as new: Perilitus aciculatus, P. aeschlimanni, P. alticae, P. annettae, P. aphthonae, P. asper, P. belokobylskiji, P. brassicae, P. charchirai, A cunearis, P. dilleri, P. discrepans, A eduvigiae, P.fagi, fittkaui, P. haszprunari, P. hellenicus, P. latopetiolatus, P. lobodenkoi, P. milkae, P. parvus, P. perforatus, P podargae, P. schmidti. P.silvularis, P. sommerae, P. stenocari, P. strophosomi, P. thyellae and P. trifolii. Furthermore the following new synonyms are established: Microctonus spurius RUTHE 1856, Microctonus aethiopoides LOAN 1975 and (uncertain) Euphorus brevispina THOMSON 1892 as synonyms of Perilitus aethiops NEES 1814; Microctonus vittatae MUESEBECK 1936 as synonym of Perilitus brevipetiolatus THOMSON 1892, P. gracilipes THOMSON 1892 as a questionable synonym of P. debilis WOLLASTON 1858, P. areolatus THOMSON 1892 as synonym of P. flaviventris THOMSON 1892, Microctonus lancearius RUTHE 1856 and P. caudatus THOMSON 1892 as synonyms of P. retusus (RUTHE 1856). Several taxa Could not been taken in consideration. A list of the known hosts of the Perilitus-species treated in this paper is included and references to literature on the biology of some of the species is made.
