Original range, spreading, life-cycle, egg-laying behaviour, habitat and host plants of Pachyrhinus lethierryi (Desbrochers, 1875) and its larvae were studied. The mature larva and the pupa are described, illustrated and compared to immature life stages of Pachyrhinus mustela (Herbst, 1797) for the first time.
