Alaocyba ientilei n. sp. (Coleoptera Raymondionimidae) of Marettimo island (Egadi Archipelago, Sicily), is described. The new taxon belongs to the group "Alaocyba carinulata Perris, 1869" (sensu Osella, 1977) and is closely related to A. separanda Dodero, 1916 (Pantelleria) and A. lampedusae Dodero, 1916 (Lampedusa). It is distinguishable by the aedeagal and pronotal shape and by the elytral and pronotal punctation. Short remarks on taxonomy, biogeography and ecology of the new species are also given.
